In January 2021, Gray Oak Studio was featured in the winter edition of Northshore Magazine. The cover photo of the article featured an image from the Lovell Project and the Pilgrim Project was included in the article as well. Leah and Sonia were both quoted throughout the article as they discussed the ways the pandemic has affected designing work spaces.
In September 2020, Gray Oak Studio was nominated for a Rising Star Award by the editorial team of Boston Home Magazine as a budding local firm that has been operating for six years or less and has made significant contributions to the field of design. Gray Oak Studio was featured in the Spring 2020 issue of Boston Home Magazine. Principal Designers Leah Hook and Sonia Brady created a palette for a primary bedroom using an iconic photograph by Ansel Adams as the inspiration.
