PROJECT: Prior to the design process, this Primary suite consisted of dark and dated furniture. For this project, the clients requested a serene bedroom suite that provides a sense of calmness upon entry.
DESIGN DETAILS: To create serenity, we painted the walls a soft white (White Dove), and kept everything light and calm with a gray scale. We added a lot of woven textures along the gray scale to encapsulate the feeling of serenity. The bed frame is performance fabric in the color of white linen, surrounding by woven roman shades to complete the space. We used the empty space in the corner of the room to create a nice reading nook, gray chair, a lamp, and a textured pouf. Wooden mirrors and new sconces surrounding the vanity were an addition to the Primary Suite bathroom, along with the oversized artwork above the tub.
